Figured I'd take the "free journal skin" opportunity to post an update... since, y'know, I haven't since July.

Been busy, really busy, if that's not obvious. For those of you who don't know, I'm still in High School- but I might as well be going to college. Four APs in my schedule this year, plus two Honors classes besides. Between Speech Team, Quizbowl, camping, and church events I barely have time to sleep, let alone read, draw, waste time online, etc. But I'm trying my best, yeah?

I've also started looking at colleges- well, been looking a while, but now I have a short list. MIT (Massachusetts Institute of Technology) is at the top, but I'm also looking into Tufts, Caltech, and Berkley. Those are the best engineering schools in the country that are also in the regions I want to attend, but someone else suggested a couple Canadian universities. Montreal, I think, was on there, as well as Ontario. From what I've heard, it would be hell of a lot cheaper, but I don't know if I'm willing to leave the country just yet. Besides, Canadians pay way too much for their books. >.<

In other, non-academic news, I finally cashed in for my own copy of Mass Effect, meaning no more straining Mybox's poor, old processor with my brother's buggy, possibly illegal copy. I've started a couple new files that I want to complete before the sequel comes out, but I don't think I'm going to make that deadline- gaming has now become restricted pretty thoroughly to holiday weekends and unexpected days off. I'm also trying to balance Team Fortress 2 with ME, and I wanted to check out Assassin's Creed and Dragon Age: Origins. One one hand, I don't have the time to play them; on the other, I don't have the money. Ah, well; it's not like they're going anywhere.

Gotta go now to make Game Night; Settlers, if you didn't know, is the best board game ever invented. Why can I spare the time for this, you ask? Well... let's just say it's building character or something. Anyway, I might or might not post later. Bye for now.
